Thomas S. Timko

Capo Contabile e Corporate Controller, Delphi Corporation

Thomas S. Timko, 39, è capo contabile e corporate controller di Delphi Corporation. Timko è entrato a far parte di Delphi come controller nel giugno 2006 ed è diventato capo contabile nell'agosto 2006.

Timko began his career in 1991 with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) where his responsibilities included managing multiple audit and special project teams for large multinational companies. Timko was responsible for coordinating global audit and tax services. In addition, Timko participated in numerous SEC registration statements, 10-K and 10-Q filings and assisted clients with acquisition due diligence.

In January of 2003, Timko was named the Assistant Controller for the Dover Corporation, which is a diversified manufacturing company. Timko was responsible for financial reporting, accounting policies and procedures, and internal audit. He was also responsible for leading and managing the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance effort and provided support for other corporate departments such as Tax, Risk Management/Insurance, Legal and Treasury.

In December of 2004, Tom was named the Assistant Controller at Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), one of the world's largest advertising agencies. During his tenure he was a key member of the turnaround team that successfully completed the financial restatement for the periods 1999 to 2004,. Timko was selected by a panel of judges from Crain's Detroit Business Publication to "Crain's 40 Under 40, Class of 2007", which recognizes professionals who have achieved significant business success before the age of 40.
